Long Bio

Xavier Serrano is an independent singer-songwriter and guitarist who weaves introspective acoustic folk with the complex, discordant textures of alternative rock, celtic stylistics, and jazz impressions. Based out of New Haven, Connecticut, Serrano crafts a deeply atmospheric realm of sound that bridges the gap between stark minimalism and lush, dramatic chamber-pop instrumentation.

Drawing from a rich Spanish and Puerto Rican heritage, Serrano was introduced to stringed instruments early in life by his maternal family. Over time, his style evolved under the heavy influence of British folk legends like Nick Drake and Bert Jansch, blended with the raw narrative structures of alternative rock. His sophisticated fingerpicking techniques and unconventional chord progressions serve as the backdrop for lyrics that explore profound psychological concepts, internal contemplation, and self-growth.

With a growing catalog of ambitious, independently released albums—including Enantiodromia and Eros (Our Dark Sides)—Serrano continues to captivate listeners seeking music with exceptional technical merit and deep emotional resonance.
