Community Outreach Volunteer – Terrasongs
Location: Remote, in CT (or work in UTC-5 EST)
Job Type: Internship, Volunteer
Compensation: Negotiable, based on reliability
Timeframe: ~ 4 hours per week
Vetting process: 1 virtual interview, 1 week trial ($80 stipend at completion)
Role Overview
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for starting conversations with venues, artists, studios, and community partners. This role requires the energy and confidence to approach many people, while still communicating in a thoughtful and genuine way.
Outreach is not done through scripts or boilerplate messages. Each interaction should feel considered, personal, and grounded in respect for the work others are already doing. The goal is not volume, but meaningful connection that can grow into collaboration.

What You’ll Do
- Reach out to venues, studios, artists, and community partners by phone and email
- Introduce our mission and explain opportunities for collaboration
- Track outreach conversations and follow up as needed
- Help identify new spaces and organizations that are committed to accessibility
- Share feedback from the community to help guide future projects
